Herb draws influence from modern electronic pop music, post-dubstep and shoegaze. 'Better Way', the first release since 2017, shows an updated format incorporating drum machine, synth, vocals and sampled acoustic instruments. The track explores a feeling of millennial hopelessness in the face of seemingly insurmountable problems, ultimately resolving to look forwards, not backwards, for a solution.
