Herbert Anchovy are the raw and sleazy, party concoction stirred, at length by Daniel Farrugia and Christopher Boaz. Catapulted from the salty depths of Sydney’s northern beaches, long time school friends, Herbert Anchovy began their musical career between waves at Newport reef. While waiting for sets, Dan and Chris ad-libbed tunes to pass time. After months in the ocean, Herbert Anchovy had written an extensive back catalogue of tracks, forcing the guys to learn the studio skills to get the tracks down. It was year 8 when Dan and Chris first enrolled in music lessons and by yr 10 they were performing across the city. Masking themselves behind different names, Herbert Anchovy have since sculpted their energy fuelled party tracks and created a solid style and direction for the band to follow.
