HEY BLUEM sparked to life mid 2017, when Sydney based drummer Andy (AUS) teamed up with Gothenburg based bass player Kris (SWE) for a long-distance collaboration through dropbox to create what has now become their debut-album "It's Just a Vibe". Andy and Kris met mid 2016 when Andy moved from Sydney to gothenburg to pursue music. Kris was already playing in an established Gothenburg based rock band (Mother Gaia), and through the connection of a mutual friend, Andy also joined the band. After a year of playing and doing shows around Sweden and in London, Kris and Andy’s relationship grew strong. Through their love for Toto, catchy melodies and atmospheric sounds, "It's Just a Vibe" cam to life and became a vibrant and colourful compilation of songs that reminded them of artists like Empire of the Sun, Robyn, Gotye, MJ, Coldplay and many others.
