“From a young age I’ve been told to sit in the corner and be a good girl, it’s time to make noise now and to make it loud” Front woman or motivational speaker? It’s hard to say. Either way, Georgy Rochow is a force to reckon with, leading Hey Harriett’s joy-fuelled revolution. The dichotomy of raw, honest lyric writing and danceable fun whisks the listener into an alternate universe, void of judgement, built on connection and shared emotion. Injecting high levels of energy into each show, this five-piece pop/rock band from Adelaide is best consumed live.
