High Tropics is the moniker of QLD based singer/songwriter Josh Stewart & his live band. Formed as an outlet to house songs outside of the now defunct alt rock group The Ninjas, the project has already racked up over 5 million streams online, & garnered praise from both international & local taste-makers alike, including Rolling Stone Au, Triple J & Red Bull Music to name a few. After a career high year that saw him become the most collected Australian Indie Rock artist in web3 with his band High Tropics, the double denim songsmith is back with the project’s strongest release yet. Get ready to reminisce about the early 2000's with a touch of tropical vibes in 'Girlfriends', a love and heartbreak anthem that'll have you singing along and feeling all the emotions. Experience the nostalgia of the glory years with a fresh, unique twist that'll make you fall in love with High Tropics all over again.
