Highlines are an energetic and melodic heavy outfit from Sydney, Australia. Their debut single 'IDWTLWTA' receiving live airplay on Triple J's Short Fast Loud, and follow-up two-stepping track 'Love is Love' pushing back against bigotry, Highlines are not shy of vulnerability and honesty – a theme that runs through all of their songs. Highlines’ latest single 'Sweet Relief’ speaks to a time where drugs and alcohol cost less than a tenth of what counselling does, and how easy it is to fall into a cycle of misery where sleep is the only time when things feel normal. Written during a time of grief and loss, 'Sweet Relief' articulates the overwhelming weight that depression and anxiety carry - and the need for escape. Streaming now.
