Edit history

Highly Strung was formed in the early months of 2006, though has since had a line-up change in late June. Highly Strung is located in the Western District of Victoria. They have quite a unique sound. All the members in the band have quite different influences, which show within their style of music. Their sound consists of an up tempo beat (though not punk), accompanied by melodic singing, and grungy back-up vocals. To top it off, the guitarist is heavily influenced by Metallica and The Darkness, creating crazy solos.
