Hill60 The band whilst relatively 'new' in this format, have been playing for quite some time, based around Matt Hunter's intimate, world-view lyrics and edgy rock rhythms. The name of the band originated from his reflections upon a relative that fought in WWI,at Hill60 respectively, in which Matt found great admiration for the tremendous diversity of the men and women of this time. Matt, has been developing his playing and song writing for almost 20 years, and is respected as a local artist. His drive and passion for original music is the driving force behind Hill60. Col Hickey has been the main stay of the band and brings rock solid beats, and un-adulterated stage presence to the band, whilst Nathan Stahr adds to the heavy backline with his tight groove and melodious bass lines. Tony Troughton plays the guitar with mind blowing melodies and killer tones!
