Edit history

Hobo Bordeaux are a newly formed Sydney outfit. Singer Ev Jones and bass player Mick Stuart used used to play in Sydney band 'Rumpunch'. Stuart also played a major part in the long running hit musical 'Keating!'. Guitarist Jed Holmes and drummer Jim Shine also make up Sydney underground Hip-Hop outfit 'Too Many Forcefeilds'. (something about dom??) 'Gunslingin' Ways is Hobo Bordeaux's debut e.p. and was recorded in the Blue Mountains with good friend and well know musician El-Gusto (Hermitude). The songs that were recorded offer a snapshot of the versatile yet focussed sound the band is moving towards, elements of whiskey soaked rock and roll and touches of blue soul strongly support Jones's emotive vocals. Sydney director and friend, Raphael Stephens shot a clip for the opening song 'Dress Shoes' and it was launched along with the ep on the 2nd of july.
