Edit history

Hometown are a new pop rock band from the south-east suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Formerly known as ‘And I Swear It’s The Last Time’, Hometown have started afresh in 2011 with a new band name, a new line up, and host of new songs. Whilst Hometown are a new band on the block, the members are well-experienced musicians with a strong work ethic consisting of members from bands such as House vs. Hurricane and The Antique. Between the members, there are hundreds of gigs worth of experience. Past supports include artists such as The Secret Handshake (USA), Thirsty Merc, Trial Kennedy, Closure in Moscow, Heroes for Hire, City Escape etc. With the experience that many other bands haven’t had the luxury of having, they’ve produced songs that are unique and exceptionally catchy, as well as developed a live show that is energetically explosive, musically tight and a lot of fun. The band have wasted no time, releasing their brand new EP to rave reviews in May this year titled ‘Heartbeats’.
