Led by engaging and unabashed 90's kid Angel Love Owens, Honeywheeler's infectious pop-grunge is loaded with shiny hooks and their songwriting is assured and intriguing. True to their influences, their fast-paced blend of alt rock and pop brings a distinct sound evocative of nineties grunge, with a healthy dose of catchy hooks amongst the alternative rock. Recorded with Al Smith at Bergerk! Studios, their debut EP HONEYWHEELER encapsulates the band's energy, passion and unique sound in five succinct tracks, including a poignant guest appearance by Michael Strong from The Disappointed. It is available on iTunes and Bandcamp September 7. "Resourceful composers, their songs have enough twists, pauses, [and] tempo switches to never be predictable. With tight grooves and a feel good vibe, the lead guitarist/vocalist bounding with enthusiasm... With a big voice and a Courtney Love-like aura about her... Singer (Angel Love Owens) exude[s] a sassy mix of street toughs and vulnerability. ."
