Hoodwink is a new four piece rock band formed in 2020 in Adelaide, South Australia. Grounded in garage rock, they embody a resurgence of not just a nostalgic sound but a meaningful protest to modern day hypocrisy with a long-lost post-punk attitude. Charting for six weeks in Triple J Unearthed, 'Ketamine' was the first offering from Hoodwink's raw and energetic style of rock. 'Ketamine' looked at how Social Media manipulates it's users in what to think and do. It particularly took aim at how corps and governments advertise and plant seeds in people's minds. At the time Donald Trump and America were gearing up for an election. Down - is an upbeat song commenting on how the media use bad news to hook us in to watching or reading their feeds. It looks at the misinformation and downright lies the media plays on a daily basis to make money. https://linktr.ee/hoodwink
