Edit history

HOTBOX has been playing Melbourne and country Victoria venues for around two years. Originally started as a duo between Michelle mC(12 string and vocals) and Michelle S (Bass). They have since added some very accomplished musicians such as Alex R with his smooth lead guitar; Marita haunting and bluesy on violin; Paul on blues harp and Rob on drums. The band has evolved their unique acoustic roots/pop sound. They have performed at Melbourne's Midsumma Carnival and the Queenscliff Music Festival recently. Appearring twice on Chartbusting 80s this season with two original covers of Sweet Dreams and Spin Me Round. Michelle's voice is smooth and sultry and they are a HOT act to hear live. They songs they have recorded were done in three hours live with no added effects. Michelle and different band members can be seen performing regularly at the Elwwod Lounge in an acoustic format.
