Hailing from the suburbs of Adelaide, four piece outfit Hound Eyes blend together their collective influences of grunge, shoegaze and alternative rock to deliver a brand of music that is loud, contemplative and full of passion. Written as a letter to a future self, debut single ‘Guillotine’ is about recognising changes sometimes needed in life whilst acknowledging that the courage to follow through on these changes is not always present. Reflecting on young love and the turmoil that often accompanies it, ‘Guillotine’ looks toward the day where the song’s protagonist is ready to follow through on change - to become a better version of themselves for themselves.
