Northampton husband-and-wife duo House of Cats make beautifully loud, hypnotic music that sits somewhere between post-punk, shoegaze and underground noise-rock. Their songs combine the skeletal drums of late-80s UK indie and goth with cascading reverbed guitars, thick chorused bass and the hypnotic repetition of bands like Spacemen 3 - equal parts atmosphere, melody and glorious racket.
