A slide guitar, a stomp box, a battered hat and 'that' voice. When Howlin' Zak Daniels steps on stage and fires up his slide guitar and his growling voice it's like a tractor pull between two howling V8's. Accompanied only by a bass player, Daniels cranks it out like a cross between John Lee Hooker and ZZ Top. Powerful, dynamic, thumping blues and roots music you can feel in your gut. Howlin' Zak Daniels has been performing since the 1960's, however, instead of gracefully mellowing with age this blues rocker is cranking up the volume and howling his message around the world. And his message is a gritty, passionate and uncompromising mix of originals and classic songs that have been given the Howlin' Zak Daniels 'treatment'. But be warned! This is not easy-listening musak! They don't call him "Howlin'" for nuthin'!
