Alt-pop trio Howlite blend heavenly vocals with Y2K inspired electronica to create cinematic dreamscapes. Inspired by alternative acts such as alt-J, Perfume Genius and Frou Frou, and energised by dynamic performers like Billie Eilish and CHVRCHES, their dramatic musicality showcases a band who’s shifted into a higher place. Howlite first dipped their toes into glossy atmospheric soundscapes with the release of 2020 EP "Not Here", with triple j fanning that “it's all about the pillowy-pop base”. It earned them adds to Spotify’s global New Music Friday and Fresh Finds playlists, radio plays on triple j, Double J, 3RRR, and JOY, and won a coveted spot as finalist for Frankie Magazine’s Good Stuff Awards. Receiving a warm reception from the Australian music community, the band have featured in Rolling Stone Australia, Forte, The Music (and more). On stage, Howlite are a formidable force, having supported the likes of Tia Gostelow, Nat Vazer, Elizabeth and Deep Sea Arcade.
