Hung Parliament formed late 2010 with coincidently no idea what was going on in National politics. Hung Parliament consists of Ben “The Riffage” Slabb on vocals, Drewe “Dirty Fingers” Mitchell on guitar, Jon “Old No. 7” Dyer on bass and Aurey “the stik” Vasta beating the skins (real hard). Their mission is to write and perform soulful, blues based rock. Ben “The Riffage” Slabb writes lyrics consumed with the darkness of his failed relationships and melancholy recollections of youth, delivered with passion and power befitting a male Tina Turner impersonator. This is complimented by the blues based musings of inadequacy from Dirty Fingers, all driven by the low end rhythm section of Old No. 7 and the stik.
