"A group of wholesome, Hong Kong-bred multicultural kids, Hungry Ghosts are the kind of band you could take home to your parents. If you caught them a while back when they snarled around in pirate costumes, they’ve developed a whole new sound and image since. Fronted by former acoustic artist Luke Chow, this energetic post-punk outfit ditches the sappiness of the latter’s solo efforts while retaining the same painstaking commitment to writing finely crafted emo songs, now backed up by a rocking rhythm section.: - HK Magazine, John Rbertson
