Hyparxis are a band that, well, I guess we don't really know what it is we do, or sound like. We formed in the latter half of 05, are currently working on recording a demo... Our songs usually consist of melodic, harmonious and hypnotic clean sections, slowly evolving and changing and building in tension to a heavy climax. We have pretty much abandoned standard song structures, it is rare for us to repeat a part of a song, however echos of previous sections can usually be heard in later stages. We aim to create complex, beautiful, and emotional soundscapes, and to redefine the boundaries of genre and style.
