Hyperdrones, the Warrnambool/Melbourne-based three-piece, are a band that combine experimental rock/synth sounds with a powerful, riff-driven style. After releasing their debut self-titled EP in 2014, they have toured throughout regional Victoria, released music videos, played festivals, received radio-play, and headlined/supported with a stack of great artists. Frontman Daniel Gilchrist weaves guitar and vocal effects through the low rumble of rhythm section Matt Grave (bass) and Clarke Finn (drums). The result is a cohesive unit of heavy, dynamic, spacey music. Currently the band is writing and recording demos for their second, more adventurous EP.
