HYSTA HYSTA 12 aka Christian Diaz was born in the mountains of northern Chile and his parents emigrated to Australia when he was two. He had a liking for music at a young age, which his parents tried to nurture by giving him musical instruments which he would use until he broke them or lost them. His first real instrument was a trumpet which he played till all hours much to the disgust of his neighbors. In the end his parents had to take it away from him because of the complaints, but this didn't stop him from pursuing his dream. They moved to Melbourne and he grew up in St Kilda which at the time was the center of the Australian Music Industry with many of its independent record labels situated there and most of the live venues as well. So as a young teenager he watched many big local and overseas bands perform at venues such as the Esplanade Hotel ,the Venue, the Sea View Ballroom and the Prince of Wales which they would let him in for free because as the local news paper boy he
