Hysteria originally formed as “The Bennies Trio” playing beachy; Jack Johnson influenced songs but began to change their style to a 70’s rock feel. Hysteria then changed their name to Myth.” After a long search Hysteria found their own sound, which is an art rock/grunge feel. They then changed their name to “Hysteria.” Their Major influences are Muse, Radiohead, Silverchair and Smashing Pumpkins. Hysteria sounds like, Muse and Radiohead with a grungy edge. Hysteria has just recently finished their first E.P. (April 2007). The songs released are; In My Own Trance My Agnostic Prayer Independex Product Hysteria writes their own songs and has recently been experimenting with new sounds and techniques. They are always trying to push their boundaries of song writing and personal abilities. Joel has recently been networking within the Sunshine Coast local music scene. Hysteria are soon to launch their E.P. (May 2007) at the Live and Loud Greenhouse. Nathan is soon to take go to both
