Back in 1997 The Lick brought a 4-track recording machine and recorded songs with various talented chaps in different sexy locations. The Caravan of Courage session (It was recorded in a caravan in a dog pound) spawned the infamous "Mr.Whippy's Wonderful Whipping Machine" 7 song demo tape. These songs were written, performed and recorded in one day, with/between Lick & Cueball. A few weeks later The Lick and Slippers teamed up for the "Jizzed On The Tressle Table" session. 4 Songs were written,recorded and performed in one day in a beer garden somewhere in country Victoria. Substances used in recording these songs include, milo, bum nuts, beer, red cordial, smokes, joints, and panadol. Only 9 years later the songs are finally being mixed from a 4-track tape to pro tools. They sound as shit as the day they were written. Enjoy and leave us a comment if you must.
