In a sense, you can't blame them. They get a record contract dangled in front of their noses & they think that's it. They forget about the real reason they play music & that's the god damn problem these days. People are playing music for the wrong reasons. Motivated by the fame and fortune, their music becomes as weak as piss..... IDIOT has no shame or any desire to sound like anyone else. We shall continue to have a dig at all the little issues everyone else doesn't have the balls to do because they are too scared to lose the "slim" chance they "might" have of joining the masses in sounding like every & anyone else

Born from his mother before the turn of the millennium, a young Billy Fisher began the collection of old gadgets, gizmos and doodads. On one of his many life threatening adventures he pushed the skeleton of a knight aside, revealing an object that had been discarded by a group of teens during the "Grunge Era" of the 90s. The object although not made of the eggs of a golden goose would prove to be worth its weight in gold. It was a small tin, with an inscription reading "You found the tin! Well done you win! But what will happen next, its up to you, only you can milk this cow. You picked me up n you shall see that you're the Idiot now. Billy opened the lid of the tin to discover something quite shocking. It was a group of men, all handsome, strong and talented. Without saying anything, only exchanging looks and the occasional touch, it was clear what had to happen. They then formed the first band

Idiot was created by Snakeman (vocals) in 2005. He was a drummer in a metal band and there was a sense of seriousness that he wanted to change into fun. He discovered a band called S.O.D and loved the fast, short music and straight to the point lyrics. Heavily influenced, he then needed to create the band asking his brother in law's and their bass player if they were interested. They were also in current bands but liked the idea so Idiot was then born. Snakeman wrote the lyrics to 5 songs within a week and they wrote the music to 3 of them in one night. In a months time a set was ready and the idea of costumes and a gimp on stage then came to light. Based in Sydney they found their first gig and the launch at Bar Broadway with a crowd of 200 family and friends. They then recorded their first album and dvd combo and are still shocking crowds as we speak. The show is guaranteed to please young and old and once you have seen an Idiot show you will feel completely entertained.
