illumni grew from organic beginnings between friends Mike and Luke. The swapping of bootlegs and live videos, talk of music and the swapping of guitars led to the decision that a band should be formed. Recruiting a drummer and bass player we got to work writing and jamming in Mike's garage. Mark and Matt fit the band like a glove and gigs began in back yards and at parties, building a loyal fanbase. From there illumni moved to the big city, starting off at lesser known bars and working our way to more established venues. On our way we have built up our fan base, played with some great bands and meet some awesome people. The first release, a demo CD sold out and illumni are about to release their self titled CD.
