ILUKA worked on her debut record 'Queen of Turbulent Hearts' with LA- based producer Aron Forbes (Billie Eilish, BANKS, Finneas) which resulted in a worldwide publishing deal with BMG US and various sync placements on Netflix shows, such as 'Wellmania'. The record included a collaboration with Australian indie darlings, Lime Cordiale, which and resulted in a nationwide tour with the band. Having grown up with a Dad who was a songwriter and guitar-maker, ILUKA was taught the basics of songwriting from her earliest years, spending hours on the balcony of her Blue Mountains home honing the craft. At 7 years old, she began recording her own songs on a 12-track recording desk with her Dad and by 15 she had albums worth of recorded material. It was this early education, the passing-down of emotion and story-telling from one generation to another, that gave ILUKA’s music its spark, the seed that’s still growing to this day.
