Imaginarypeople are four best friends from sunny Sydney, spreading their infectious mix of surf rock style fast guitars, catchy hooks, and punk anthems. Fusing emo sensibilities with modern rock. The four-piece have made a splash on the scene with their debut single ‘overthinking, over-thinking,’ a song about the feeling you get, when you catch yourself watching life go by and start to overthink it a little too much. The single was quickly picked up for radio play on the likes of The Band Next Door on 2ser and Triple J’s Short.Fast.Loud, and have already featured on Spotify playlists curated by the likes of Domestic LaLa and Lennox Groove. For fans of Tigers Jaw, Best Coast, Tired Lion, or Killing Heidi. 2021 will see the band reach for the stars with upcoming singles and shows yet to be announced.
