Imocean Studio Band (pronounced "emotion) are a group of friends from all across Western Australia who occasionally get together and write music. We originally met back in 2013 while we were studying at a music college. After graduating we unfortunately went our separate ways to pursue other endeavours in 9-5 jobs, further music study, teaching music, playing in bands & running a recording studio. The band consists of drummer/vocalist Hannah Smillie, vocalist Nikita Shiels, bassist Brandon Richards, Kate James on piano & Jonah Chiera on guitar. Our debut single "Morning Sun" was written quite a few years ago & meant a lot to us as it's where it all began. We had planned to get into the studio for a proper release but commitments always prevented us... until now! We're so proud & excited to share this little creation with everyone and who knows... it could be the start of us writing more together
