Imperial Lizard was formed out of the ashes of Wilde Green Marsh, after Barry and Morgan were dumped by their singer and keyboard player, Jo Marsh. Still realizing they had a deep need to annoy people, Barry and Morgan recruited Jefro Lee to play guitar and formed Imperial Lizard. Which was the least embarrassing name they could think of. The music of Imperial Lizard is all about the dirty perverted urges that the members of the band have and insist on singing about, much to the dismay of their wives, girlfriends and mothers. (Surprisingly enough they do have wives and girlfriends) They have played a few open night gigs where have received a mixed reception but still haven't managed to entirely clear the room. The band mamaged to win a Curtin heat of the Campus band comp but lost out to the hip-hop/funk/R&B/Jazz-fusion/Cat Empire bands in the Semi.
