In 2 Minds consists of Chris Mangan (Rutherglen, NE Vic) and Bob Brookes-Hardman (Melb). Although they live 4.5 hours away from each other, they write, record and produce their own material via the internet. They rarely meet face to face, so work is completed by sharing files through cloud websites. The featured song, HEAD IN THE SAND, was made during the Covid 19 lockdown. It reflects on the Australian bush fires, floods and Corona virus situations during 2020. Chris explains the process of putting the song together: Bob sent me a vocal and ukulele track, and I layered everything else on top. I mixed it, got it mastered and then we separately shot video on our phones. I then edited what we had with stock footage to complete our youtube clip. We haven't seen each other for 18 months, but it hasn't prevented us making music together.
