In The Vicinity have been playing together for over 2 years almost weekly. Early days brought song writing being more along the lines of what ever came to us, but now more conscious thought is put into song writing (and performance), and we think that they have both improved dramatically to become more energetic and professional. We are play more commercial music than many of our peers. Also with a string of solid gigs under our belt including winning the Ev’s youth center battle of the bands to play with Spiderbait and also coming first in the national Mp3.com.au Big Day Out online competition for our song “Find my way” for a prize valued at over $1000. It would be great to hear feed back from all of you.
