I was born in Northamptonshire, England, and spent a cloudheaded childhood playing conkers, dreaming of snow days, and writing stories. In my first teenage year, my ever-adventurous parents uprooted our family unit and we flew across the earth to replant ourselves in the Australian sand. Eleven years later, mistakes inevitably made, heartbreaks survived, buckets of love given and received, I am still here doing what I have always done - writing stories (and singing them, too). I like to sing on the floor with my legs crossed, too close to the microphone, twisting lovesick words with yearning melodies and ethereal instrumentation.
