International Exiles, the Power Pop outfit that rose from Melbourne's famous Punk scene, imploded after one seminal single on Missing Link. 'Let's Be Sophisticated' still appears on compilation CDs and TV (The Slap). The band reformed and reshaped itself around an amazing new talent and the overwhelming desire to revisit Post Punk Rock. The unique voice of Vanessa is framed by epic songs of fucked up love and murder, thundering bass lines, timpanic drums and guitar that swerves from naive to menacing in a heart beat.
