A band predominantly from Box Hill/Blackburn, Intrepid was formed in late 2010 by Max Karklins and Ethan Berry. Members from various other bands, such as 'Copperfox', 'Instant Poncho' and 'That AC/DC Cover Band,' soon joined also. Alternative Rock is their calling, and they're sticking with it. All four band members met at Box Hill High School, and have all been involved in separate school-organised bands, and each one has played with the other at some stage. However, presently is the first time they have have played together, as Intrepid.

An Adelaide three-piece with smooth yet crunchy guitar tones, followed by the condescending and wildly punchy bass lines. Intrepid is polished off with only the harshest and loudest of drums of the known world. The sound resonates in it's own distinct technique to create an absolutely horrid and audacious experience, friendly for all who wish to consume. Dogma thus inscribed by our third brother skazz "Including but not limited to: A dramatic portrayal of nihilistic comparisons of the confused and tortured millennial souls inundating the vast sub-structures of our society. Determined to undermine any aspect of your good judgement, sound reasoning and milk toast upbringing. Hey! Grab a shovel and shove those 21st century apocalyptic ideals in a red 'n' white handkerchief, tie it to said shovel and toss it over your shoulder. And come follow us far beyond your precious psyche, way way out past the lollipop kids and industry bibs worn by the wicked witch of our western civilisation.
