Since early 2008, Ire The Puppet have been taking the time to create a certain type of sound… Having played together for years, Heath and Pat (vox and keys respectively) created a unique sound, and after finding Aaron (guitars) and Steady (drums), the songwriting began… Whilst jamming and writing new material, they found Todd (bass), who brought the backbone to this group of boys. Since these five boys have found this line-up, they have been working day in day out at Electric Sun Studios to release their debut EP. Working alongside Dave Petrovic, (Cog, Mission In Motion, Bleached Academy) who mixed and helped produce the record, Ire The Puppet have created a sound that is a simply a ‘feast for the senses’. Hailing from Western Sydney, these boys have played a variety of venues. From Luna Park to the Bull n Bush, they have been attracting a very particular crowd. Their sound brings melodic riffs, along with roaring vocals, intense time signatures and beautiful string sections. A
