Iridescent Adolescent is an indie rock band from South-East Brissie. The band is comprised of Alyza Jeffery on vocals, Camilla Bastow and Naveen Hingorani on guitar, Zali Campbell on bass, Annelies Alcorn on piano and Ewan Tipping behind the drums. Composed by Year 11 music student Evie Redhead, ‘Kick me Out’ was written about a holiday band created during the summer of 19’. While jamming, the band received an eviction notice, warning the members that the music was too loud for the neighbourhood. Complaints that were issued were emailed to one of the members parents, and whilst no police were involved, it still gave the band quite a scare. The next day they played music elsewhere and wrote this song in remembrance of that memory.
