IRONSPIRIT is the alter-ego of Lesa Godden and Aren-K otherwise known as the front-wimmin of the RAWNCHI rock n blues band. ONE HOUR BEFORE ELEVEN is the first release on their new IRONSPIRIT label formed to house their eclectic stable of musical manifestations. Daughter of Romney, one of the renown ‘Guitar Godden Brothers’, Lesa was born with a guitar in her hand and a composer’s passion. Juggling her love for composition through hard rock to delicate strings, fronting the RAWNCHi band, running her luthier workshop and honing her skills in the recording studio, all while being a Mum, Lesa is one to watch. Aren-K is a storyteller in all mediums. Whether she is delivering an angry gravel bellow or a honey laden whisper in song or narration, Aren-K takes your ears, your heart and perceptive mind on a bard’s quest for illumination. A passionate explorer of the story-behind the story-behind the story, Aren-K fires up and tenderly enlightens your being’s experience of the human adventure. Together, they create unique original works or deliver their melded interpretation of others’ contributions to simply entertain or to carry inspired musical messaging to a new or wider audience.
