ISAAC PADDON & THE TIDES Emerging onto the live Roots music scene in 2003, Isaac Paddon formed his band, The Tides and released his HERE COMES THE SUN EP. In January 2006 Isaac then independently released a full-length album entitled A STONES THROW FROM HOME. WHERE WE ONCE STOOD is the most recent offering from Isaac Paddon and the Tides. After touring through 2007 they formulated a collection of tunes that became crowd favorites. The album takes on a warm and organic tone, with the emphasis on staying true to their live sound. Recorded in the Bilambil Valley Hall in Northern NSW, the Tides chose to do things in a ‘rustic’ way, which reflects the overall mood of the album. Songs vary from slow burning country ballads to reggae infused alternative rock.
