Cinematic Pop-Rock collective from Perth, WA; Ø Island use their wide-reaching influences of rock groups like Muse & King Gizzard, ambient bands of Sigur Ros & Wilsen and pop bands The Wombats & Of Monsters and Men to create a cacophonous production filled to the brim with horns, hooks and synthy goodness. Ø Island stacks drums, guitars, a plethora of synthesisers and a killer horn section together to create a production of songs that are completely unique to one another and tell imaginative stories of love, loss and destruction within the Ø Island soundscape. The brainchild of Jasper Miller, Ø Island is a collective of working musicians from both Jazz & Contemporary musical backgrounds uniting their own individual influences into Ø Island’s expansive sound.
