Tempered by overthought and hesitation, Isle Wait is the musical project for Sydney based songwriter/producer Axel Lundstrom. Born out of a deep rooted love for the canon of modern pop, Isle Wait has been a long time in the making. A decade spent exploring different genres and mediums have resulted in a concoction of sounds that draw influence from a wide range of sources. A fair description of Isle Wait's approach to song writing would be that time is never really of the essence. Many pieces composed by the artist are created over long lengths of time, forgotten, reinterpreted and then destructively over analysed to a point where what remains is a bare memory of whatever idea existed in the first place.
