Israel P. Jones; a one-man band, lo-fi project with a unique and raw sound fusing any genre, creating a little something just called music. Inspired by the likes of Ween, Regurgitator, Prince and others, there is an air of quirk and romanticism evident in the music. Don't let lo-fi make you think less of the music. Whilst capable of recording more cleanly, overly tight and polished you will note that he does not. Lo-fi is an intentional sound, used to express the rawness, the reality and the truth of the feeling, thought or expression in the music. Lo-fi gives the realistic grit and edge to the music and when you give it a chance, you will notice the beauty in that rawness.
