It Was Earth All Along are not simply a metal band travelling down a road paved with groove-laden riffs, catchy melodies and movie references. They’re a band for the comic book readers, Jedi Knights and 8-bit fanatics alike. A band for both exercise junkies to work out to and stoners to zone out with. A band that has the classical music fans pondering, “hmm... it is very Vivaldi with a hint of Wagner” and the metal fans yelling, “HELL YEAH!!”. A band that inspires Hardcore kids to kick the air and Indie kids to sway their shoulders. With their debut album THE FALL hitting the world in November 2013, and the letters IWEAA scribbled on backpacks everywhere, It Was Earth All Along aren’t just a Sydney metal band. They are on their way to being Australia’s metal band!
