Name inspired by the cult movie Human Traffic, Itchytriga are a 5-piece band formed in February 2000. The band is self-managed, financed and self promoted. Our song lyrics range from subtle political opinions to observations of the world we live in. The sound is described as a cocktail of Pop, Rock, Dance Funk and Blues. Influences include, Massive Attack, The Doves, Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, Sly & The Family Stone and Radiohead just to name a few. Itchytriga believe the John Lennon philosophy that "song is king". The Band has been busy writing and recording songs after a twelve-month break from the live scene, during which a film soundtrack was witten and recorded. Itchytriga have also started work on a "soon to be completed" forthcoming CD.
