IVIE are a five piece outfit stemming from the far northern beaches of NSW and southern tip of QLD.The personnel at the forefront of the band are singer/songwriter/guitarist, Grant Byrnes, guitarist/bass guitarist/singer, Steve Badger, and drummer Rob Brown. Their bond and mateship has seen them perform together at successesive Woodford Folk Festivals, a slot at the Byron Bay Blues Fest, as well as a two year residency at the Beach Hotel Byron Bay. Ivie was born out of the recent additions of the beautiful Eunice Badger on vocals and percussion and the much anticipated keyboard playing of long time friend Andrew Roach. Their sound is unflinching as it cascades and flows through a mileau of musical styles, leaving behind a fire of intense emotion and raw honesty. It is these attributes that define the bands music. Ivie has just finished recording their debut EP with Syd Green from Mononest Studios.
