Ivano Abram is the innovative mind behind Ivofonic, an independent musician and producer whose creative vision has made waves in Melbourne’s vibrant music scene. Hailing from Italy, Ivano embarked on his musical path at just 12 years old, starting with the guitar. His early passion soon expanded into a fascination with electronic music and sound engineering. Drawing inspiration from trailblazers such as The Chemical Brothers, Röyksopp, Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, and Jamie xx, Ivano has forged a unique sound; a vibrant blend of electronica, synth-pop, house, and electro-pop, all enriched by live instrumentation and a drive to continually redefine the boundaries of contemporary music. At the heart of Ivofonic’s artistry lies a deep commitment to storytelling, fusing music and visuals to craft experiences that resonate across borders. Ivano’s work transcends sound alone, inviting audiences into vivid narrative worlds that come to life through compelling videos and immersive performances. Since launching in 2021, Ivofonic has rapidly established a dynamic discography, releasing two EPs, a full-length album, and six singles. In addition to his acclaimed solo projects, Ivofonic has emerged as a key collaborator in Melbourne’s thriving electronic community, working alongside notable independent acts like The Safety Word, Robodop Snei, and Superangel. Their joint single, ‘Heaven on Earth’, co-written and co-produced in 2024, garnered enthusiastic reviews and widespread praise, further solidifying Ivofonic’s reputation as an innovative force in the scene.
