Drawing influence from the righteous upstroke kinetic and reckless optimism it pursues, Ivory Coast are a band grounded comfortably on the edge of a zero consequence surf city. Their often bright tone spits a lo-fi garage edge, as surf, psych-rock and reggae sounds collide to produce up-beat rhythms, harmonic vocals, melodic riffs and wandering bass lines. Emerging from scattered Sydney suburbs, this young collective continue to produce a loose-fit rhythmic variety. Bleeding with reverb and chrous, Ivory Coast's sun-drenched guitar sound gleams effortlessly through floating vocals and energetic beats. http://www.facebook.com/ivorycoastmusic
