Ivory Cocoa is an acoustic duo based in Canberra featuring Lauree Inez on vocals and guitar and George Pass on guitar, keys and vocals. They play a combo of emotive originals as well as unique covers of their favourite artists. The band formed at the end of 2010 and have played a variety of gigs around Canberra as well as lovely weddings locally and interstate. Lauree's honest and soulful voice is complimented by the intricate guitar and keys stylings of George, together creating sincere, emotive songs, taking you on a journey through love, life and loss. Their original songs range from reflective, impassioned ballads to quirky, fun tunes. They've covered songs by the likes of Florence and The Machine, Kate Miller Heidke, Nick Cave, Caro Emerald and the XX (to name a few), and after performing a cover of Clare Bowditch's uplifting anthem "One Little River", were selected by the songstress to play along side her during her "Winter Secrets" tour at the Dee Why show.
