Hey there, whoever it may be reading this! As an artist, you may come to know me as J 2 M, but as this is a bio, it ought to be a little more personal. My name is Julian, and I'm an independent artist from Melbourne who began my musical journey through beat-making and production. Not unlike many other artists out there [cliché warning], I've always loved music from a young age. From the New Age tracks on repeat before bed as young child to smashing away on my first Kawasaki keyboard, it's shaped who I am. In more recent years, I was initially hellbent on producing trap/hip-hop tracks owing to my fondness of old school boom-bap and crunk. However in time I have found my passion for electronic music as well. In every project I work on, I try to incorporate and pay homage to artists I revere, while seeking to present something new to listeners through genre hybridisation at times. Music is a means to not only express parts of my otherwise reserved self, but bring enjoyment to others too
