Jay is a one-man army!. A solo multi-instrumentalist / producer. He writes the music, records all the separate elements including guitars, bass, fully mic'ed up drums and piano/keyboards, then mixes everything together and finally masters the recording to get what's in his head into the listeners ears. All this takes place in his own studio, The Sound Therapy Lab. As a lover of various styles and genres, his influences are many and include The Police, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Slayer, Midnight Oil and Cog, to name a few. He has recorded several single tracks and two full length albums, the last being the recently released 'Painting in Sound', with the Sydney pub-rock inspired 'Then Came The Rain', found here on the Triple j site and Unearthed digital radio. The album is like a mixtape of musical moments that weave through his life. All of jay's music can be heard on Soundcloud and Bandcamp. He also has his own youtube channel, J@SoundTherapyMusic.
